You will be responsible for ensuring the security of our applications and protecting our customers from security threats. As an Application Security Engineer, you will review our codebase and develop security best practices for our development teams.To be successful in this role, you must have a deep understanding of application security principles and technologies, as well as a commitment to staying up-to-date on the latest security trends. You should be an excellent communicator and able to effectively work with both technical and non-technical teams. Responsibilities for this role include:
-Conducting code reviews and developing security best practices for our application development teams
-Designing and implementing secure applications
-Identifying and resolving any security vulnerabilities in our applications
-Developing and maintaining secure coding standards
-Researching and staying up-to-date with the latest security trends
-Providing guidance and training to development teams on secure coding practices
-Developing secure software architectures
-Performing penetration tests
-Documenting and reporting security incidents
-Collaborating with both technical and non-technical teams to ensure security
