This is a remote Contract/Consultant position. Working hours will be 9:00am-6:00pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, although hours worked may be greater based upon operational requirements. The job requires excellent oral and written command of the English language. Resumes must be submitted in English.
About the Job:
Our rapid growth has created an excellent career opportunity for a Valuation Specialist/Appraiser in our Valuation Department. The Valuation Department is responsible for the management of commercial and residential appraisals, BPO's, AVMs and internal QC review. This position collects, analyzes, and reports appraisal related market data through internal and outside sources. This position will require significant research skills and familiarity with services like Costar, LoopNet, and DataTree are a plus.
Responsibilities: ?esearch local real estate markets and identify and confirm sales and rental data ?ssist appraisers with aspects of completing valuation assignments ?eviewing inspection reports to ensure the quality of report and photos ?oint of contact for the Valuation department regarding report issues and/or missing documentation ?anage assistant(s) to insure proper workflow ?he ability to self-identity, report, manage and resolve critical issues ?eeting critical deadlines and ensuring adherence with established production and quality standards and goals. ?eview internal and external valuations of small to medium-sized businesses throughout the US ?esearch real estate markets and identify and confirm sales and rental data ?evelop internal valuations on small to medium-sized businesses throughout the US ?ssist analysts with aspects of completing valuation assignments ?ther projects and duties as assigned
Requirements
?00% Excellent English, with exceptional English verbal and written communication skills
?xperience in real estate appraisals/real estate or banking
?ndergraduate degree (four-year college or technical school), or equivalent work experience preferred
?inimum 10 years experience in an applicable risk management or valuation environment
?egistered and Sworn Valuer for at least 10 years
?xperience in Costar strongly preferred
?xperience with Microsoft: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint required; Teams experience preferred
