Job DescriptionThe Hydro Services Manager will drive services activities for hydropower plants in the nominated region. It includes proposal development and execution of services transactional works. Services Transactional works include maintenance and repairs, condition assessment, technical assistance, spare parts and training for Hydro Turbines, Generators, Control systems and governors, auxiliaries and balance of plant. The Hydro Services Manager is at the cross road of technical expertise, site works including EHS, technical project management, with commercial awareness. Essential Responsibilities:As the Hydro Services Manager , you will:Develop strong relationship with hydro power plant maintenance teams and understand assets, maintenance needs and budget, and upcoming outages schedules. Actively visit customer’s plants participate in customer meetings, detect and connect customer needs with our products’ available options and solutionsDeliver timely / accurate responses to customer technical inquiries including technico-commercial offersProvide hands on technical support to customers and field teams for general services and specific upgradesProject Execution: Lead the execution (incl. site activities and project reviews with customers) with respect to EHS, time, quality, cost commitment and drive variation orders in cooperation with engineering, supply chain and site teams. Run the project financials (sales milestones and cash, risk & opportunities)Ensure Customer Relationship Management tool (CRM) accuracyIdentify required suppliers in the plant area and build a case to develop suppliers with sourcing team. Qualifications/Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering from an accredited universityMinimum of 3 years of commercial experience interacting with customers and delivering proposalsProven experience in a Hydro Business related technical role involving Engineering/Procurement/Construction phasesAbility to read and interpret mechanical/electrical/hydraulic drawings and systemsAbility and willingness to travel up to 50% of the timeFluency in English and ItalianEU work permitDesired Characteristics:Entrepreneur mindset and team player attitudeStrong analytical skills with the ability to do Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to understand and resolve problemsStrong knowledge of / experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)Strong oral and written communication skills to our customers in the regional language.
