Job Duties and Responsibilities In this critical role, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including: Installing, configuring, supporting, and troubleshooting issues related to Microsoft technologies, ensuring seamless functionality and minimal downtime. Designing and developing solutions to complex application problems, system administration issues, or network concerns, leveraging your technical expertise to drive innovation. Performing systems management and integration functions, collaborating with stakeholders to eliminate technical barriers and provide proactive advice. Contributing to product quality and enhancements, creating self-help assets, and serving as a trusted advisor or subject matter expert to maximize the functionality of Microsoft technologies. Conducting modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between systems to improve reliability and supportability, reducing time to solve technical issues and driving efficiency. Responsible for incident metrics such as Customer Satisfaction, quality of support experience, frontline engineer technical readiness, and process compliance, ensuring that our clients receive exceptional support and service. This role requires domestic travel up to 25% and telecommuting is permitted 50% or more per week within the same geographic location as the assigned Microsoft office location. Minimum Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, providing a solid foundation in technical principles and concepts. Six months of experience in supporting and troubleshooting software, with a strong understanding of software development and technical support principles. Education or experience in C and C#; Data Structures; Python; Java; JavaScript; Algorithms; and Mobile development, demonstrating a diverse skillset and ability to adapt to new technologies. Pay Range and Benefits Information The offered base pay range for this specific position is $132,050 to $162,050, depending on factors such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. At Microsoft, certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus, and stock, allocated based on individual performance.
