Key Responsibilities Handle incoming calls from members and providers regarding claims status, benefits, and eligibility, PPO participation, and other related topics Maintain department-established performance metrics at a meets or exceeds expectations level Work collaboratively as a team and apply the Aetna Core Values in day-to-day operations Create a differentiated service experience by demonstrating service discipline, handling service challenges, and providing solutions to constituent needs Work across boundaries to ensure seamless communication and resolution of customer inquiries Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Call center experience and medical terminology/insurance knowledge Experience working in a production environment Computer savvy with excellent multi-tasking skills Results-oriented and self-motivated with a strong work ethic High school diploma or equivalent required Preferred qualifications include experience working in a customer-facing role, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
