Job Description We are seeking an experienced customer service representative to join our team at blithequark. As a customer service representative, you will be responsible for providing product and service information, resolving technical issues, and delivering exceptional customer service to our clients. This position also offers opportunities for career advancement, as our company grows and expands. We hire team leaders from within, who manage a team of 5-10 representatives, so there are plenty of opportunities for professional growth and development. Key Responsibilities: Answer incoming phone calls and emails, and assist customers by providing information, answering questions, and resolving issues Communicate internally with colleagues and managers to ensure seamless service delivery Document and update customer records based on interactions, as needed Understand internal and external proprietary software, and troubleshoot common issues with customers Internally assist colleagues and managers with various other tasks that may arise Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications: Must reside in the United States Good verbal and written communication skills Must pass a background check Previous experience in customer service, with a preference for experience in insurance or financial services Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and email Must be proactive and able to prioritize work Ability to build rapport with clients, and deliver superior customer service skills Must have the minimum equipment requirements, which include: Hard drive: 20 GB or more of available space, 60 GB or more of total space Operating system: Windows 10, Window 8.1 (note: this operating system is not supported by some client programs), or Mac with a minimum i5 Internet connection: hard-wired connection (no wireless), minimum 10 Mbps download, minimum 3 Mbps upload What We Offer At blithequark, we offer a range of benefits and perks to our team members, including: Rapid salary increases, based on performance Flexible work schedule, allowing you to choose your hours and work from home Rapid career advancement capabilities, with opportunities to move into leadership roles Paid training, which includes 4 hours per day, Monday to Friday, for 3-4 weeks, at $7.25 per hour Quarterly reviews, with opportunities for pay increases A competitive salary range of $10-$12 per hour, based on experience and tenure Career Growth and Development At blithequark, we are committed to helping our team members grow and develop in their careers.
