Our team is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of our customers, and we're seeking like-minded individuals to join our ranks. **Why Work at blithequark?** * **Work from Home**: Enjoy the flexibility and comfort of working from your own home, with a dedicated office space that fosters productivity and focus. * **Competitive Compensation**: Earn a competitive hourly rate, plus bonuses and commissions for meeting and exceeding performance targets. * **Opportunities for Growth**: Develop your skills and expertise in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with opportunities for career advancement and professional growth. * **Collaborative Culture**: Join a team of passionate, customer-focused professionals who share your commitment to delivering exceptional experiences. * **Benefits and Perks**: Enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical coverage, paid time off, and opportunities for continuous training and growth. **Responsibilities** As a Remote Inbound Customer Service Representative with blithequark, you will be responsible for: * Handling a high volume of calls from customers on behalf of our client, a prominent power company, to provide customer service support and offer additional products and services. * Assisting customers with power outage issues, making payments, creating payment plans, or starting/ending service. * Offering customers the opportunity to purchase programs for surge protection, home wiring, and water heater repairs. * Meeting and exceeding performance targets, including phone time, customer experience, sales, and other key metrics. * Collaborating with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives. * Participating in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge. **Requirements** To be successful in this role, you will need: * Prior recent experience working as an inbound customer service agent for at least one year, with a verifiable track record of success. * Experience with upselling and cross-selling, with a proven ability to share goals and results with our interview team. * Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with customers in a professional and courteous manner. * Technical savvy, with the ability to easily learn and navigate multiple screens and enter data while engaging in conversation with customers. * Time management skills, with the ability to work independently and meet various program goals around phone time, customer experience, sales, and other key metrics. * Solid organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities. **Eligibility** To be eligible for this role, you must: * Be at least 18 years old. * Have a high school diploma or equivalent. * Pass a background check and drug test. * Have a dedicated office space that fosters productivity and focus. **Work Schedule** As a Remote Inbound Customer Service Representative with blithequark, you will work a set schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm Eastern Time.
