Our client, Workwarp, is seeking an adept professional to manage customer service and logistics operations efficiently. As a Customer Service and Logistics Representative, you will be the linchpin in ensuring customer satisfaction, managing logistical operations, and performing administrative tasks with precision and professionalism. Key Responsibilities Provide top-notch customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns via phone and email, ensuring prompt resolution and high satisfaction levels. Manage logistical operations, including scheduling trucking and coordinating with sales representatives to streamline their tasks and address their queries. Handle administrative duties as needed, such as processing payments, calculating charges, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date spreadsheets. Monitor and report on railcar movements to ensure the timely delivery of chemicals, involving railcar reporting and coordination. Foster a collaborative environment by working closely with the sales team, respecting their direction, and answering their questions. Maintain organizational skills by sending daily schedules to trucking companies and filling orders for billing purposes. Undergo Haz Mat Training (provided) and be willing to undertake additional responsibilities such as booking travel arrangements and participating in cross-training. Engage in research projects and preparation for handling municipal bids under direction. Essential Qualifications and Skills To excel in this role, you must possess: Excellent Communication Skills: Both written and verbal communication skills are crucial, with a strong emphasis on proper grammar and sentence structure. Basic Computer Skills: Proficiency in Sage, data entry, Excel, and familiarity with CSX & NS Rail websites is required. Professionalism: Demonstrating politeness to suppliers and customers, maintaining a professional demeanor, and accepting direction and suggestions graciously. Punctuality and Dependability: Being on time, achieving tasks in a timely manner, and following through on instructions without needing reminders. Teamwork and Adaptability: Ability to work in a team setting, help others, and adapt to new tasks and directions. Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Capability to work independently with training, making informed decisions, and solving problems effectively. Effective Time Management and Organization: Key to completing tasks correctly and efficiently. Attention to Detail: Carefully reading and understanding information to avoid errors.
