Job Overview We're seeking highly motivated and customer-focused individuals to join our blithequark team. As a Customer Service Associate, you'll be responsible for delivering top-notch service, working efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace. You'll be the face of blithequark, interacting with customers, answering questions, and resolving issues with a smile. Key Responsibilities Receive, pick, and stow customer orders, process returns, and prepare for delivery, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Assist customers with questions, concerns, and issues, providing personalized support and resolving problems efficiently. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace, adhering to blithequark's high standards and ensuring a positive customer experience. Manage responsibilities for a Locker+ location, including opening and closing the site, and performing tasks such as receiving truck deliveries and using technology like smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders. Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals, share knowledge, and support each other in a fast-paced environment. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need to meet the following requirements: Be at least 18 years old with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines in English. Perform physical labor, including lifting up to 49 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation, and stand and walk during shifts lasting up to five hours. Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around, and go up and down stairs (where applicable). Be available to work part-time between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. with schedules varying week to week. Essential Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and competencies: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with customers. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve issues efficiently. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities. Basic technology skills, including the ability to use smartphones, handheld devices, and other equipment. Physical stamina, with the ability to lift, stand, and walk for extended periods.
