About the Role: Key Responsibilities Receive and process incoming calls from patients, family members, and medical professionals, gathering essential information and providing support as needed. Relay critical information to clinicians in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring seamless care coordination. Maintain a high level of professionalism and composure when dealing with challenging or emotional callers, navigating complex situations with empathy and care. Develop and refine your customer care skills through ongoing training and feedback, staying up-to-date on industry best practices. Work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to ensure 24/7 coverage and support for our clients. Essential Qualifications: What We're Looking For Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office and internet navigation, with accurate keyboard and typing skills. Strong customer service skills, with a warm and empathetic tone, and the ability to "speak with a smile" in your voice. Reliable access to high-speed internet on a personal network (not shared) and a private, patient-confidential workspace. Preferred Qualifications: Nice to Have Previous experience in customer-facing roles, particularly in healthcare or telehealth. Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare operations. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks or calls simultaneously.
