Job Details We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Estimator to join our team in the Construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in glass and glazing estimation, with a focus on commercial projects. This is a full-time position that offers competitive compensation and benefits. Responsibilities: • Conduct detailed estimates for glass and glazing projects, including storefronts, curtain walls, and other commercial applications • Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to determine materials, labor, and other costs • Work closely with project managers and other team members to ensure accurate and timely estimates • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and availability of materials • Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits to gather information and assess project requirements • Prepare and submit bids and proposals to clients in a timely and professional manner • Provide ongoing support to project teams throughout the construction process, including change orders and other revisions to estimates Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a glass and glazing estimator, with a focus on commercial projects • Strong knowledge of the construction industry, including building codes, regulations, and safety standards • Proficiency in estimating software and other relevant tools • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, vendors, and team members • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required If you are a highly motivated and skilled estimator with experience in glass and glazing for commercial projects, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
