Job Overview As an Entry-Level Field Technician I, you will work under the supervision of senior staff to perform operation, maintenance, and monitoring functions on environmental control systems. This role provides a solid foundation for career growth and involves straightforward tasks, including assisting senior staff, learning company policies and procedures, and performing basic maintenance and repairs. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, travel to different sites, and develop essential skills and knowledge in the environmental control systems industry. Key Responsibilities Assist senior staff in planning and executing daily tasks, including Crew Activity Plans (CAP) Gain proficiency in understanding and complying with company policies and procedures Learn the fundamentals of operating, monitoring, and maintaining environmental control systems Perform basic maintenance and repairs on environmental control system components under guidance Conduct field observations and report them through field notes and daily logs Utilize field instruments to measure environmental control system data, ensuring proper calibration and handling Participate in preliminary data reviews with supervisors to understand data interpretation basics Assist in making operational adjustments to environmental control system components based on data review results Receive training in the use of tools, equipment, and materials for maintenance and repairs Support other staff in the removal of landfill liquids pumps Essential Qualifications No prior experience required; preferred experience in mechanical, construction, environmental, or solid waste fields Willingness to complete a 40-Hour HAZWOPER Course, OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 (training provided if not current) Basic proficiency in computer/technology skills, including Smartphones, Tablets, and Microsoft Office Programs Valid driver's license with a good driving record Ability to meet physical requirements and pass a Human Performance Evaluation (HPE) Preferred Qualifications Experience working with environmental control systems or in a related field Knowledge of operation, maintenance, and monitoring procedures Experience with field instruments and data collection Strong communication and teamwork skills Skills and Competencies Required for Success Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities Physical stamina to work in varying weather conditions and perform manual labor Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Workwarp, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
