Data Analytics Project Manager Remote JOB SUMMARY The Tax Change Management Data Analytics Manager is responsible for the day-to-day activities relating to analytics projects. The goal of this role is to drive long-term scalability and sustainability of the business for a competitive advantage. To execute their area of responsibility, this role collaborates with staff, product teams, IT, other functional areas within the broader firm, and field offices to ensure we achieve the vision cohesively and effectively. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success leading high-performance teams, strong data analytics capabilities, a continuous improvement mindset, and a deep passion for the digital transformational journey. ESSENTIAL DUTIES • Manages day-to-day activities for analytics projects. • Coordinates with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery. • Facilitates discussions for requirements gathering. • Assists with the design, development, and maintenance of analytics solutions through Power BI, Alteryx, etc. (e.g. data analysis, real-time reporting/dashboards, scenario modeling, etc.). • Analyzes data for trends and creates actionable insights to assist leaders in strategic decision-making. • Manages timely resolution of technical issues. • Provides troubleshooting and support for existing solutions. • Continues learning and development of technical skills. • Discover and define new processes for improvement and opportunities • Collaborates with IT teams and functional experts in the implementation of data solutions • May serve as a Performance Advisor including regular feedback, coaching, goal setting, and training with assigned advisees. EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS • Bachelor's Degree (preference given to Business or Technology or Accounting major). • Relevant Microsoft Certifications including Microsoft PL900, PL100, PL200 or equivalent experience. JOB REQUIREMENTS • Minimum 5 years' experience working with leadership, managing managers and individual contributors (required). • Minimum 5 years' experience in software development, with a focus on low-code/no-code platforms (required). • Results driven; high integrity; ability to influence, negotiate and build relationships; superior communications skills; make complex decisions and manage change (required). • Effective communication skills for differing audiences and situations (required). • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI (required). • Experience with designing and implementing complex solutions using the Power Platform (preferred). • Experience with integrating the Power Platform with other systems and applications (preferred). • Experience with Agile development methodologies (preferred). • Prior public accounting experience with mid to large size firm(s) or other professional services experience (preferred).
