About the Role: Customer Experience Agent The Customer Experience team is the backbone of our user-centric approach, driving process improvement, order management, and problem-solving to ensure our customers have an exceptional experience. As a Customer Experience Agent, you'll be the face of Whatnot, interacting with buyers and sellers, resolving issues, and making things right when something goes wrong. You'll work closely with other departments to troubleshoot, research, and resolve open questions, and seek out opportunities to eliminate repeat contacts and improve the overall customer experience. Key Responsibilities: Interact with buyers and sellers with a customer-first attitude, ensuring a positive experience. Resolve customer issues regarding payments, orders, shipments, and general questions in a timely and high-quality manner. Become an expert in Whatnot's product, processes, and systems to drive positive outcomes for our users. Collaborate with other departments to troubleshoot, research, and resolve open questions. Identify opportunities to eliminate repeat contacts and improve the overall customer experience. What We're Looking For: We're looking for a hungry individual with a customer service mentality and a passion for delivering exceptional outcomes. If you're a proactive problem-solver with a growth mindset and a willingness to learn new skills, we'd love to hear from you. Here are the essential qualifications: 2+ years of Support experience handling email and/or chat services. Weekend availability required. Understanding of Ecommerce and Marketplace operations. Experience with Customer-facing systems like Zendesk, Kustomer, or Intercom. Obsession with customers / being customer-first / serving customers. Preferred qualifications include: Knowledge of Collectibles is a plus. Bachelor's degree or college experience preferred. Previous start-up experience is a plus. Compensation, Perks, and Benefits: We're offering a competitive salary of $24.04/hour to $28.85/hour + benefits + equity.
