Crew Accommodations Coordinator (Hotel and Travel)

About the position Responsibilities • Coordinating hotel accommodations and ground transportation for flight crews and other airline employees. • Handling emergency relocations of crew members and ensuring timely resolutions to avoid delays. • Acting as the primary liaison between the client's Crew Scheduling and internal teams. • Facilitating effective communication to expedite work and resolve problems. • Ensuring all necessary tools and resources are operational and reporting issues promptly. • Utilizing technology to process, track, and report transactions accurately. • Identifying suitable hotel options and managing the approval process for non-compliant options. • Managing payments to hotel and transportation vendors according to contractual terms. • Fostering a positive work environment and promoting a 'CAN DO' attitude among colleagues. • Reporting incidents to the TA Connections Supervisor and/or Operations Management. • Maintaining attendance and adherence to company policies. • Assisting with data gathering and special projects as assigned. Requirements • A minimum of 3 years of experience in the hotel/travel industry or a similar role is highly preferred. • High school diploma or GED Certificate is required; some college education is preferred. • Excellent interpersonal and client relationship skills. • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills. • Strong writing, communication, and negotiation skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Familiarity with hotel sourcing and rate negotiation. • Excellent PC skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. • Availability to work shift work and flexibility to adjust schedules as per client requirements. • Reliable transportation for on-site work. Nice-to-haves • Proficiency in additional languages such as Italian, German, French, Spanish, or Portuguese is a plus. • Experience in customer service or call center roles is highly preferred.
