Join ViaBill and Shape the Future of Payments! ViaBill is a Danish fintech scale-up redefining the way people shop online and in-store with simple and transparent Buy Now, Pay Later solutions. We have an existing presence in the Spanish market with sales and customer support operations. We are seeking a Country Manager for Spain to take ownership of the market and lead its next growth chapter. As Country Manager, you will have full responsibility for P&L, market development, and team leadership. Your first focus will be on ensuring that our existing structure is healthy and efficient, and then on driving organic growth through commercial partnerships, sales excellence, and operational execution. You will represent ViaBill in Spain with merchants, industry stakeholders, and regulatory bodies, and act as the bridge between the local team and our global leadership. This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a fast-growing fintech’s market, reporting directly to the CEO, and to shape the future of ViaBill in Spain. Experience in scaling and optimizing teams, ideally with both sales and operations under your responsibility. Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills with top-tier merchants and partners. Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, able to translate insights into actions. You are ambitious, resilient, and motivated by creating growth in a dynamic, international scale-up environment. Fluent in Spanish (native-level) and English. What you will do Take full ownership of the Spanish P&L and drive commercial success across the market. Lead, optimize, and develop the existing Spanish sales and customer support teams, ensuring efficiency and sustainable growth. Define and execute the go-to-market strategy for Spain. Build and strengthen long-term partnerships with merchants, including negotiations with C-level stakeholders. Act as ViaBill’s representative in Spain towards partners, merchants, and regulatory/industry bodies. Monitor performance, KPIs, and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency. Work closely with central functions (product, marketing, risk, finance) to adapt strategies to the Spanish market. Prepare the ground for potential expansion of the local structure (e.g., marketing, operations) as the business grows. What’s in it for you? Competitive compensation package. Full ownership of a key growth market with direct reporting to the CEO. Responsibility without limitations - freedom to shape ViaBill’s success in Spain. A role at the heart of an international fintech scale-up. Daily collaboration with passionate, ambitious colleagues across Europe. Opportunity to represent a fast-growing brand in one of Europe’s most exciting BNPL markets.
