About the Role As a Construction Manager - Wireless, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the construction of wireless telecommunications projects, ensuring they're completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You'll lead a team of construction professionals, providing guidance, support, and expertise to deliver exceptional results. Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Oversee all phases of utility construction for various types of telecom projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and high-quality work. Team Leadership: Lead a team of construction professionals, providing direction, guidance, and support to ensure successful project outcomes. Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing escalated issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Schedule Management: Review project schedules, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions to ensure timely completion. Budgeting and Cost Control: Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective solutions. Safety Management: Promote a safe work environment, enforcing safety protocols, and holding crews accountable for safe work practices. Subcontractor Management: Identify, supervise, and manage subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project requirements. Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and interpret drawings, graphs, maps, blueprints, bid documents, contracts, proposals, and specifications. Estimating and Bidding: Participate in estimating and bidding projects, contract negotiations, and change order preparation. Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot problems as they arise in the field, providing effective solutions. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree: Preferably in Construction Management or a related field. Experience: 3-5 years of experience managing telecom construction projects. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with telecom construction industry, including Coax Splicing, Fiber Splicing, Directional Drilling, and map reading. Problem-Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot problems and provide effective solutions. Leadership: Experience in leading teams and managing subcontractors. Communication: Excellent communication and customer service skills. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Project. Preferred Qualifications: Location: Currently residing in North or South Dakota, or open to relocating. Travel: Willingness to travel 50-80% to various project sites. Custom Software: Ability to learn and adapt to custom software applications.
