Call Center Medical Appointment Clerk - ONSITE Only

Title: Call Center / Medical Appointment Clerk. Onsite OnlySalary: $16.50/hr to $17.50/hr. Location: Palm Coast FloridaThis is an opportunity to work in a leading medical facility and to support our veterans. Magellan Solutions USA is a bidding on a contract to provide 24/7/365 call center services to a well-known major government medical facility. We are seeking Call Center / Medical Appointment Clerk candidates who have experience working in a medical call center environment. Responsibilities:Coordinate scheduling of clinical appointments. Verify appropriate healthcare enrollment in TRICARE. Verify that care is available at the designated Military Treatment Facility (MTF). Keep records of information received in conversations and add to the call center database. Maintain a working knowledge of Internal Call databases and phone trees. Proactively call patients with referralsTransfer calls to a hot line as needed. Requirements:Must have a high school diploma or GED. Must be a US Citizen. At least 6 months experience in Medical Office Scheduling. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Technical experience including proficiency with Microsoft office, email, etc. Experience understanding and meeting performance requirements including SLA's, KPI's or metrics.
