AutoCAD Drafter (Entry Level)

Overview: This is an excellent opportunity for a junior AutoCAD Drafter looking to grow into an AV Design career. You’ll be joining a dynamic workspace solutions company that specializes in cutting-edge AV integration projects for modern office environments. The role starts on-site in Wilmington, MA, with a path toward hybrid flexibility once you're up to speed. Key Responsibilities: • Create and revise technical drawings using AutoCAD based on AV project requirements • Collaborate with AV designers, engineers, and project managers to ensure design accuracy • Interpret architectural and engineering plans to support AV system layouts • Maintain organized drawing files and documentation throughout the project lifecycle • Contribute to multiple projects while meeting deadlines and quality standards Qualifications: • 1–3 years of professional drafting experience using AutoCAD • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow design standards • Excellent communication and organizational skills • Associate’s degree or technical certification in drafting or a related field preferred Growth Opportunity: This role is ideal for someone eager to transition into AV design. You’ll gain exposure to AV system layouts, design principles, and integration workflows, with mentorship from experienced AV professionals. Nice to Have: • Experience with Revit, Bluebeam, or other CAD-related tools • Exposure to AV, electrical, or low-voltage system design • Good customer service skills — a huge plus as you’ll eventually interact directly with clients Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
